Matthew is a cinematographer based in the DMV. A graduate of Towson University’s Electronic Media and Film program, he developed his craft through experience across the camera and electrical departments before moving into cinematography. His time serving in the United States Marine Corps helped shape his discipline, adaptability, and approach to working under pressure—qualities he carries into every production. His work is driven by a fascination with the emotional power of images and how light, composition, movement, color, and lens choice can shape the way an audience experiences a story. Whether working on narrative films, commercials, or other visual projects, Matthew’s goal is to create images that serve the story, feel intentional, and leave a lasting impression.
